The town of Bansko is situated at the northeastern foot of Northern Pirin Mountain. It is 161 km from Sofia
and 170 km from Plovdiv. The conditions are generally suitable for skiing from late November to early May and it has ski
tracks with total length of 32 km. With a state of the art gondola and excellent ski/snowboard schools and hire services, it
is of no surprise that in recent years Bansko has won the title of most improved ski resort on more than one occasion. The
beautiful nature, the interesting crafts and historical monuments as well as the hospitality of the local population make
this town such an attractive tourist destination . Bansko is the most popular skiing destination in Bulgaria but the pistes
are by no means the only attraction. With a near by 18 hole golf course and further courses underway, internationally renound
spa centres, mountain biking, lots of off piste entertainment and an international jazz festival every summer Bansko has
something for everyone.
Mountain Paradise by the Lift is probably the best project in Bansko, gaining from the uniquely
