Hi,
I would very much appreaciate if somebody can help me with some advice about selling a property online from the internet. I have a piece of land that I need to sell in Romania, & I was wondering whether it is best to advertise it across the net or contact agent who can sell it for me. The land - I believe - would be ideal for someone from outside the country wanting to invest.

You are more likely to sell your home online if your become a motivated seller. I buy and sell many houses for my clients and have to deal with both motivated and unmotivated sellers (and buyers)! So many times I have a client wishing to see a home & the seller just will not show us and time runs out. Excuses like I can only show you the house in the evening or weekends I have heard too many times. Selling property online provides many new oportunities for a motivated seller. We put our properties everywhere we can, we have portal ads, a website, facebook pages, twitter pages, linkedin etc... We also purchase qualified buyer leads from property portals, we spend thousands of dollars on this depending what we have to sell, but it works. This site gives free unqualified buyer leads, which is quite unique, and from this we have many new clients. YOU HAVE TO BE QUICK!! If someone contacts you about your property online via a website like this you have to get back to them AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE. Studies show if you can be in contact with them in less than 5 minutes your chances of selling are huge. The longer you leave it the less & less chance you have. I constantly monitor my emails (by iPhone when I am out of the office) & reply back to or call the prospective buyer immediately. Just a tip that works - and new clients like the attention & that you are serious too. Is shows them that they at not just looking at a page on the internet - but it is a real property that could be theirs while it is fresh in their mind.

Mario, Be very diligent in your search to sell your property. Stick with large firms that specialize in this field, do not be taken by everyone that uses a yahoo e-mail address or gmail one.
There are too many scammers out there.

Would you care to share your experiences? Why do you find this site better than others? Ive just placed my ad on this site amongst some others. Amidst the wide variety of sites offering to list your property my impression is what one can do is a random selection trusting that the buyer will read that particular site. At least Im glad to see a praise on this one.

Pretty much all property ends up on the net somewhere. Question is do you want to be a For Sale by Owner - or use an agent (or both)? I agree with Nancy, - Just be careful & dont do anything you wouldnt normally do when selling!

What could you do without Internet? Just walking here and there around and shout I sell properties, I sell properties... Consider about this.
According to me, INTERNET is the reason the world property market to open wide.

Submit your property to as many websites as possible - mention that you are a private seller. You will be approached by overseas property agents & private buyers pretty quickly. Our agency hired a professional internet marketer and the best tip she gave us was to link all our internet marketing efforts together. Our website links to our property ads, our property ads link to our blogs, they link to our facebook pages and vice-versa.
