Ireland wedding

The Irish landscape has a mythic resonance, due as much to the country's almost tangible history as its claim to being the home of the fairies and the 'little people'.

Sure, the weather may not always be perfect, but the dampness ensures there are fifty beautiful shades of green to compensate - just one of the reasons Ireland is called the Emerald Isle.

To have a wedding in Ireland, Churches and registry offices are the only places licensed to perform legal marriage ceremonies in Ireland. However if you wanted to have a marriage blessing, exchange of vows etc... outdoors this can be arranged. Lots of couples do this and have a legal wedding either in their own country or get married in a Irish registry office beforehand.
